Black Body Radiation: Rescripting Data Bodies (2022) is a collaboration between digital artist, creative technologist Ameera Kawash and performance artist Ama BE amabefree, exploring tobacco as material, ritual, adornment, and value. Through the use of body sensor networks and blockchain architectures, the artwork generates performance-driven NFTs and rescripts data gathered from the performer’s choreography, gestures, and movements.
